This is part of my attempt to help out a bit with the EDGE project. This is the first of a few new anthro characters I have created and intend to use regularly in my work as a way of getting word out and increasing the popularity of the species (because the more popular a species is, the more conservation attention it gets, generally).

Name: Trixie Species: Malayan Colugo (aka Malayan Flying Lemur) Age: 26 Personality: fun and outgoing, a bit matronly at times, she is a 'mother' to the group.. a MILF anyway. Special Features: flying lemurs, also known as colugos, have the most extensive flying membrane of any mammal. They are also the only mammal other than bats to have their paragium, or skin membrane, stretch between their fingers and toes. They are slow climbers and hang upside-down in trees, like slothes, but they can glide for a distance of 100 m without losing any altitude. They cannot truly fly, and are not truly a lemur.
